BATA - B FIRST

I produced this video for Scholars & Gentlemen director Colwyn Thomas who got the gig from Ogilvy.  Challenges included casting kid actors who could mime playing, etc getting the backlighting on the green screen right, ensuring the animators (Hello Pocket), the director, and the creatives at Ogilvy and Bata were all on the same page, scheduling the shoot so that we wouldn't contravene any child labour laws AND so that we could do a stills shoot on the same day with the same kids... Apart from some complications in the grading it all went okay. My special input as a sports fanatic and A.D. on the day was to coach some performance out of the kids.
